Clinton campaign HQ to open Saturday
Local headquarters for U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton's Democratic presidential campaign will open at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at The Gardner Firm law offices, 1119 Government St.
The Clinton campaign's Taryn Vogel will staff the headquarters along with other volunteers. The public is encouraged to attend.
"In addition to opening the headquarters, Taryn has planned to use the afternoon getting to know folks around Mobile and will be watching primary returns at the headquarters with all who wish to come by," said Vance McCrary, an attorney with The Gardner Firm and president of the Mobile Area Democratic Association. "Also planned is (organizing) to march in honor of Dr. (Martin Luther) King on Monday."
The Gardner Firm is located on the south side of Government St. next to Taco Bell across the street from the Bay Haas Building.
