Crawfish Quiche

"Hellions"

Crawfish Quiche

Ingredients:
3/4 lb cooked, peeled crawfish
4 eggs
2 cups heavy whipping cream
Pie crust
Onions
Bell pepper
Garlic
Emeril’s
Worcestershire
Tobasco sauce
Parmesan Regano cheese
1 cup graded white cheddar cheese

Chop onions and bell peppers and sauté with garlic in olive oil. Add crawfish and continue sautéing for 5 minutes. Set aside and let cool.

Lightly flour a deep dish pie plate and place pie crust in it.

Put eggs into bowl and season with Emeril’s, Worcestershire and Tobasco sauce to taste. Whisk eggs. Add cream and white cheddar and whisk again.

Spread cooled crawfish mixture across bottom of pie crust. Add egg mixture. Top with Parmesan Regano cheese. Cook on 350 for 20-30 minutes until golden brown. Let sit for 5 minutes and serve. Delicious!

Mom suddenly dies leaving her husband to raise two young boys: 13-year-old Jacob and his younger brother. Neither Jacob nor his father are handling it well; Dad turning to the bottle and Jacob acting out his frustration with juvenile delinquent behavior. Little brother is at risk, constantly following Jacob around ...

The movie, directed by Kat Candler, stars Aaron Paul, Juliette Lewis, Josh Wiggins, Deke Garner, Jonny Mars, and Walt Roberts, all of whom do great jobs as actors.

This indie film drama rings of true psychological impact on a family due to the tragic sudden loss of a member. We give it a 1 ½ thumbs up!
