Baked Spaghetti Casserole
&
“Desierto”

Baked Spaghetti Casserole

Ingredients:
1lb hamburger
1 chopped onion
Pkg whole wheat spaghetti noodles
Chicken stock (enough to cover noodles in pot)
spaghetti sauce
seasoned salt
2 eggs
1/3 c grated parmesan cheese
5 tbs melted butter
2 c cottage cheese
4 c shredded mozzarella cheese
Pam (butter flavored)

Cook the noodles until all stock is absorbed. Brown the meat and onions and drain. Add sauce and set aside.

Mix egg, parmesan cheese and butter and combine with noodles. Put two layers of noodles, cottage cheese, meat sauce and about 3 cups of the mozzarella cheese in a baking dish sprayed with Pam.

Cook 40 minutes on 350 covered with tin foil and pull from oven. Top with remaining mozzarella and cook for 40 more minutes uncovered.

Serve with buttered French bread and salad of your choice. Good eats!

'Desierto'

A group of illegal Mexicans sneaking into America via covered truck breaks down. The tour guides make a fatal decision to take a shortcut through the dreaded Badlands. They catch the wrong Badman owner on the wrong Badland illegals hunting day ….

The movie stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Gael García Bernal, Alondra Hidalgo, Diego Cataño, and Marco Pérez, all of whom do excellent jobs of acting. Jonás Cuarón directed.

The movie is pretty intense. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, so to speak. You definitely won’t fall asleep watching this one.

We give it two thumbs up.
