A jail by any other name ...
would, well, still smell

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet, but what about a jail?

Apparently not in Mobile County, recent evidence would suggest.

Former School Commissioner David Thomas found the Prichard jail more homey and inviting than the county's other public accommodations, specifically the Mobile County Jail, though now he perhaps better than anyone else is qualified to compare the two for creature comforts.

Though it is not exactly a Zagat survey, the Mobile Bay Times queried several area criminal defense attorneys for the reports they get on the pluses and minuses of passing time in the county's various hoosegows.

In your experience (or that of your clients) which of Mobile County's jails have the best accomodations for a prospective inmate?
