My Country, My Country

If you have time, and you get PBS, please tune in to PBS Oct. 25 at 9 p.m. I met Laura (Poitras, an award-winning documentary film maker) a few times and was impressed with her dedication, even though I thought she was nuts for driving around Baghdad to make her film. She has more balls than a lot of the guys who were over there (including me).
Please support Laura by watching her amazing film exploring the difficulties of bringing democracy to Iraq. Shown from the perspectives of Iraqis and Americans who are personally involved in the effort. She risked her life to cover this story. If you can't see the film, you can also check out the website, and read the synopsis and see photos.
