Mobile Bay Times
An array of Mobile area leaders will host a major fundraiser in Mobile County District Attorney John Tyson's Democratic campaign for attorney general here Thursday, Aug. 3 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Invitees to the reception at the home of Mobile businesswoman Celia A.
Wallace are asked to contribute
$500, $1,000 or $2,500.

Tyson won the Democratic
nomination to face GOP
incumbent Attorney General
Troy King in the general election
in November.

Tyson had perhaps an even more
extensive host committee two years
ago when he successfully sought re-election as the county's chief prosecutor. This time he is absent a couple of Republican stalwarts as well as state legislator and Bishop State Community College President Yvonne Kennedy. Tyson's office
recently prosecuted BSCC
Vice President David Thomas
who was impeached from his
position on the five-member
Board of Commissioners of the
Mobile County Public School

Hosts for the affair include:

The election is Nov. 7.
